Plot
Tony travels to Naples with Paulie Gualtieri and Christopher Moltisanti to meet with the Camorra -- the Neapolitan organized crime organization. The purpose is to set up a stolen car pipeline: luxury American vehicles shipped to Italy and sold through Camorra contacts. Tony meets with senior figures to negotiate terms. The Italians have a different pace and manner that confuses and irritates Paulie.
Paulie is constantly offending the Italians without realizing it. He mocks the food, dismisses local traditions, and behaves like an ugly American tourist who also happens to be in the mob. The Italians are politely appalled. Christopher, meanwhile, is fascinated by Italy and falls for a beautiful Italian woman, ignoring Adriana entirely for the duration of the trip. Tony manages both of them while trying to actually conduct business.
Back in New Jersey, Carmela is running the household alone and beginning to assert more independence managing finances. The Naples trip does produce a deal, though with some compromises. When the crew returns to New Jersey, Paulie's behavior abroad has created impressions with the Italian partners that will linger.
